The Local Search Engines Package is a downloadable SQL data file that extends SEO Panel’s built-in search engine list with over 100 country-specific local variants of **Google**, **Yahoo** and **Bing**. Once imported, all SEO Panel tools that use search engines — including the **Rank Checker**, **Keyword Position Checker** and **Search Engine Saturation** checker — can target any of the added local markets.

This package is ideal for businesses and agencies managing SEO for multiple countries or regions, allowing you to track keyword rankings on the exact local search engine your target audience uses.

## What It Does

By default, SEO Panel ships with only three search engines: `google.com`, `yahoo.com` and `www.bing.com`. The Local Search Engines Package imports country-specific variants of these three engines into the `searchengines` table of your SEO Panel database, covering markets across Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.

After importing, the new search engines appear in the **Search Engine Manager** and become selectable wherever search engines are used in the panel.

**Bing** (30+ variants) — covers USA, UK, Germany, France, India, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Japan, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, South Africa, New Zealand, and more.

## How to Import

The package is a single `.sql` file. Importing it into your SEO Panel database adds all local search engines in one step.

**Step 1 — Download the package**

Download the SQL file from the [Local Search Engines Package page](/content/plugin/l/6/local-search-engines-package/index.html) on seopanel.org.

**Step 2 — Import the SQL file**

Import the file into your SEO Panel database using one of the following methods:

_Using phpMyAdmin:_

1. Open **phpMyAdmin** and select your SEO Panel database
2. Click the **Import** tab
3. Click **Choose File** and select the downloaded `.sql` file
4. Click **Go** to run the import

_Using the MySQL command line:_

```
mysql -u your_db_user -p your_db_name < local_search_engines.sql
```

Replace `your_db_user` and `your_db_name` with your actual database credentials and name.

**Step 3 — Verify in SEO Panel**

After importing:

1. Log in to SEO Panel
2. Go to **Admin Panel → Search Engine Manager**
3. The new local search engines will appear in the list with **Active** status

## Using Local Search Engines

Once imported, the local search engines are available in all SEO Panel tools that support search engine selection.

**Rank Checker**

When adding or editing a keyword in the Rank Checker, select the target local search engine (e.g. `google.co.uk` for UK rankings) from the **Search Engine** dropdown.

**Keyword Position Checker**

Select any local search engine when setting up keyword position tracking to monitor rankings for that specific market.

**Search Engine Saturation**

Use local search engines to check how many of your pages are indexed in a specific country’s Google or Bing.

**Search Engine Manager**

Go to **Admin Panel → Search Engine Manager** to view, activate, inactivate or delete any of the imported search engines. You can also edit the **Maximum Results** setting for each engine individually.

## Managing Search Engines

After importing, you can manage the local search engines from **Admin Panel → Search Engine Manager**.

**Activating / Inactivating**

Select one or more search engines using the checkboxes and use the **Activate** or **Inactivate** buttons at the bottom of the list to bulk-toggle their status. Only **Active** search engines appear in tool dropdowns.

**Filtering the List**

Use the **Search Engine** name filter and **Status** dropdown (Active / Inactive) to quickly find specific entries.

**Editing Maximum Results**

Click any search engine name to edit its **Maximum Results** setting — the maximum number of search result pages to crawl when checking rankings for that engine.

Note

The imported search engines use the same regex patterns as the base `google.com`, `yahoo.com` and `bing.com` engines but with country-specific URLs and language parameters. They do not require any additional configuration after import.
